Subject: Re: Teebee1994 garage by teebee on 2008/5/10 4:01:09 I've not kept up with this thread and I have made some progress with the garage. I got the cabinets built and then they looked too plain jane, so i did a little work on my CAD and a little work with the schools CNC plasma cutter and came up with a few "decorations". What do you guys think? A C4 emblem Then I did a late C3 and a C1 Then I made one up on my own and used a 63-64 side emblem as a pattern. Then I made one up based on the NCM emblem and the nose emblem from a 63-64. I still have one to go...I have a C5 and a C6 emblem in the works. They aren't perfect, but I've had a ball making them. They are about 18" across and the CNC plasma cutter we have at school knocks them out. The cabinets themselves are 84" wide 97" tall and 16 3/4" deep. They are made from 3/4" thick melamine, it took 8 sheets to build them. |
