my main problem is when at the redlight im idling so rough my voltage hand is jumping all around, how can i raise the idle up when im in at redlight, but not cause it to jerk foward when i put it in first?

Raising the idle isnt straightforward physically - you have to do it in the tune. However, according to comp the XFI280 cam has a strong idle so I wouldnt expect it to be rough like you describe. Before you look at idle speed I recommend you do some basic troubleshooting, maybe start a new thread over in C4 Tech. Could be anything from arc-ing plug wires (check in a dark garage) to a vacuum leak to old injectors to a poor tune.. start from the basics and work upwards.

Oh - and congrats on the car - nice numbers!
