August 16th: while dithering with the !@#$% cigarette lighter I manage to blow the CTSY/CLCK 15-amp fuse. Turns out I have no 15-amp fuses left. Off to AutoZone—I end up buying another assortment of fuses (I've gone through almost all of what I bought back in the 1990s).

At least I diagnosed the problem correctly—the inside lights are working again. I'm not going to mess with the lighter any more this evening.
