September 9th: two PDFs show up in my email from the folks running the Altoona Regional, one for all attendees and one for folks who are having their car judged. No surprises—just a reminder that I'll need to leave my house at about 6:00 AM that Thursday so the car has time to cool down for the operations check later that day.

I have a moment of clarity and remember that few small lighting components in the C4 are Corvette-only. Bingo—turns out the Corvette courtesy light aasembly was a hatchback light in third-generation F-cars. eBay Motors once again provides; a light, a clip, and a pigtail are on their way.
