Fiberglass HELP!!!

Subject: Fiberglass HELP!!!
by cli59vette on 2011/12/7 18:08:24

Hello All,

I am new to the board and wanted to see if I can get some advice on a little issue i have with my 59' Corvette.

I am doing a body off restoration and had left the body under a tap next to the garage. The bricks caused the top of the fenders (where the chrome strip rests coming from the headlights) to dip down a little. I didn't expect the fiberglass to flex that easily.

Can any one help in correcting the issue? Not looking to bring it to a body shop. I feel I could correctly fix the dip.

Thanks for all the help and advice.
