Subject: Driving impressions by wesmigletz on 2008/11/23 20:36:57 The car idles somewhat smoother, albeit with less manifold vacuum than the solid F/T / dual plane combo. The drivability was greatly improved, and based on the trip to Bakersfield, the gas mileage appears to have picked up as well. Less throttle is required during driving, and was especially noticable driving through the Tejon Pass. So, the cambo of the milder HR cam and the Dart heads improved drivability and throttle response. |
