I consulted my transmission guy and he told me that the radiator tank "cooler" is really more intended as a transmission heater to get it up to temp quicker in cold weather. I figured it didn't hurt anything and it didn't cost a penny more. He recommended I do it this way- plumb in the radiator and put the external cooler in series with (but downstream of) the radiator heat exchanger. |
