Subject: Re: horn button 1980 by Durango_Boy on 2011/1/16 14:41:38 Yeah it's one of two places. Upper wheel assembly that's easy to get to. Hopefully that's all it is. I've dealt with a harder fix before, where some of the plastic sleeves in the column had cracked from too much pulling on the wheel...like how older folks get in and out of their Vettes...and the wire was pinched and grounding out when the column had pressure put on it. Upper column is easy, the other requires a rebuild, with a lot of hard to find parts and patience. |
