Bill, I've actually had this suspension in the car before. I put it in without restoring anything. Last summer, I discovered I had a rotten T/A bushing, rotten strut bushings, and I needed a higher stall torque converter.
I took everything out behind the transmission, which included dropping the transmission to install the new TC, and everything went back in with new bushings, U-joints, stripped and painted everything, and modified my T/As for a rear stabilizer bar.
I had the time to properly set the suspension a year or so ago so this time when I put it in I just set it all back up to how I had it. Both the shocks are adjusted and the ride height is set.
