Depends, surface rust on the piston & bores can be removed with Scotchbrite & Brake Clean. Pitting is a different story. I did 4 1961 Girling's the other month, on 2 I had to replace the pistons, they were stuck pretty hard and pitted. Even with that, the bores were OK. |
