| Battery Drain since new alternator |
Subject: Battery Drain since new alternator by psycovette on 2009/3/19 16:45:54 So I have a small problem. I recently purchased a new chrome 1 wire alternator 100 amp model for my 82. 1st off it was said to be a one wire alternator and I will say it works that way but it also has the additional 2 wire plug. Am I hurting anything by having that plug plugged into the alternator? 2nd Ever since installing this alternator I have noticed that my battery drains when the car is parked for extended periods of time ( say a week) What could be the cause of this?
