Wheel Play

Subject: Wheel Play
by VictoriaVette on 2009/3/24 23:02:34

Well here is my question I just finished installing new strut rods on my 77 and a friend o mine want me to help him install some adjustable strut rods. So I did and after we were done I noticed that there is some play in the rear tires. If I grab the tire at 3 o clock and 9 o clock everything it nice a tight now play at all. But when I grab the tire at 12 o clock and 6 o clock I can move the tire back and forth about 1/16" of an inch on both wheels. So is this normal? I did not check mine after I was done but I will.
