Subject: 1998 corvette transmission service by mayoman on 2011/12/6 19:27:42 I have a '98 Corvette convertible with 31000 miles. I have no records of any transmission service (fluid change) which I really didn't expect to have with the low milage. It is an automatic trans. With 13 years of age I believe it should be changed. I was told by an authorized GM dealer that the fluid should be totally "pumped out" of the trans, an not just the pan dropped. Anyone with this experience that can direct me to the right process?
