Thanks for the input, Matt and Andy.  I was afraid that would be what I would hear.  I did quite a bit of searching myself before posting, and had no luck, so I was hoping maybe someone would know something that I couldn't find.  I'll keep looking/asking....but I'm not optimistic. 

As a sidenote....I have another good friend who is a real Electronic "genius".  Wonder how hard it would be to "reverse engineer" the module and see if it could be fixed?  Of course, if the failed part is proprietary, it probably couldn't be done.....but, it might be worth a shot.
