burning plactic like smell

Subject: burning plactic like smell
by KeyLargoRod on 2018/6/20 22:26:39

Hi, I'm new here,
I have a 2000 C5 convertible 45K mi 6 speed in excellent condition. my problem just started. When I come to a stop In get a light whiff of what smells like burning rubber oil something? I have seen a little bit of smoke coming from the drivers side at about the wheel well. I can't see anything under the hood. the engine looks perfectly clean. I don't think there a plastic bag etc. underneath. also don't seen any wires touching hot spots. Any ideas?
Thanks, Rod
