Personally, I only have one ratchet and one socket to do spark plugs

John, honestly I have all different types of ratchets, sockets, etc. My go to for most side-mounted plugs is a flex head ratchet and a swivel spark plug socket. For cars with limited access and/or headers, try a header spark plug socket with a flex head ratcheting wrench.
