Subject: Re: Paint Question by bogus on 2010/8/31 17:55:29 It sounds like dead paint... even overly oxidized clear coat can go bad like this... but thin clear, that has been overly waxed can go bad. Another cause can be the where... it could easily be an aerodynamic related. IF this is near the heat vent, it is possible that enough heat has passed out and has damaged the paint there. I would take it to a body shop and have them check it out. If your description is right, a simple shot of clear might just fix it... but if not, let them shoot the fender panel alone. The panel, IIRC, is easy to remove... |
