Just checked the oil in the ZO6 no oil burning but oil is black. Dad changed oil from Amzoil to Mobil1 extended life. I'm sure the detergents are dispursing the Amsoil built up. However its a little troubling to see it. Do you think I should change oil again. I have about 1100 miles on last change. Just bought 3 jugs of Mobil 1 @ WalMart! scary place! Dad has always used Wix oil filters and K&N. Are Frams any good? I know I'm asking a lot of questions!! Thanks Erin

Stay with Wix, K&N and Mobil 1 filters.

I wouldn't worry at all about the color right now and I'd run it for another 3k at least. Normal change at 5-6k.

I would go to the regular Mobil 1 synthetic. I'm not a fan of the extended life and won't use it again.

If you're storing the car this winter, change the oil before you put it away.
