Lemme throw a few shots back...

1. No clue... On the C4, it's about 80k, but I can't attest to them on a C6. Considering the TYPE of mileage, I don't think it would be an issue. Raise the car, grab the tires at 6 and 12 and wiggle. Move? No, ok, yes, replace.

2. Hawk is nice. I have them. No question would I buy them again. I would delay doing the brakes until next March, closer to drive season. Otherwise, you will more than likely have to rebleed the brakes! Motul, Valvoline or Ford Motorsports brake fluids are my recommendation.

3. I don't see why... Highway miles = less usage. The master is more than likely in better shape than a city driven car with 40k miles.

4a. Nope. Unless you want to dyno tune. Otherwise, you will be chasing codes for 10 more hp... Besides, weren't you and your BF bitching about it being too fast already?

4b. Wow. I did my clutch last year... and it wasn't bad. It's the 2nd time I have done mine. It's a pain, but it's also a C4. The C6 is like the C5... and it's lots and lots of little bolts.

If someone was offering that kinda coin to do it, I would more than likely let them. It's about half the price for my C4, but it's also less angst. Parts will cost ya, tho... May I suggest upgrading to a ZR1 clutch set? Why not use the factory hot rod piece, eh?

5. No clue.
