rearend fluid is up to date

Richard, can you tell us more about this? When was it replaced and what was it replaced with? After replacement did the tech do some figure 8s to work it into the clutches?

If you check the TSB, some cars the problem returned even after new fluid, and the solution is new clutches.

Of course it could also be another problem, but pay extra attention to the rear differential.

You said it happens on dry pavement, which would be a sign while turning....the outer wheel has to turn at a faster rate than the inner wheel, engaging the "slip" portion of the limited slip differential. The clutches don't slip smoothly and it chatters.

Keep us updated.
