Some say use non acetone nail polish remover and it will take the rubbery stuff right off. It leaves a slick surface so you can low pressure soda blast this to achieve a matte look. If you don't like that you can opt top paint body color or another dude used an airbrush gun with #4 tip with plastikote thinned and was happy. However that will result in same wear problems. Paint will scratch also, but I've had a painted one and didn't have any issues. I do think one of our suppliers offers clearbra pattern for console so that will likely be my next option. |
