It's not the rubber that's too small, it's the throttle body that is larger.

Here's a secret... the aftermarket throttlebodies were designed for the F-body, not the 'vette (there were 10x more of them.) The F-body came with a rubber intake duct vs. the plastic Corvette duct. So the aftermarket throttlebodies, which fit fine on the rubber Camaro duct, won't fit the Corvette duct, at least not without some heavy effort.

I bought a TB, but it doesn't fit, and the seller said the warranty is no good if I cut down the inlet to fit my stock hose.
