Re: Question on water spots on the windows

Hi Guys,

Hard water spots which are caused by calcium deposits can be removed by using a low ph acid cleaner. Lime away is a low ph acid. Just be careful with the paint. Wet the car down and apply the product on a terry towel and wipe the windows. You can then rinse it off with water. Simple green is a Hi ph alkaline cleaner and wont do well on water spots. Although, I have car dealers tell me that our Brown Royal cleaner will remove hard water spots from painted surfaces and glass. I have not tried it, but then again, I dont see severe problems that many of these wholesale car lots see. You can also use vinegar. Hard water spots is a big problem with Florida water. Take care.
