Re: What's your polish/wax routine?

Hi Dan,

My cars do not get contaminates in the clear because I hand wax them ocassionally and wipe them down with Grape Gloss spray wax regularly. Even when I lived in New York. But,the harsh weather in the northern states does make it challenging to maintain paint protection. I have many years of professional detailing and chemical experience. I do not beleive in claying or compounding a car all the time unless its completely necessary. Clay your car every month and see how many mils of clear is left on it at the end of the year.I do beleive in keeping a lot of wax on my car to maintain paint protection and to build a barrier against contaminates.Just my opinion. But,to each is own.Take care.
