Hi Everyone,

Last Saturday, Bert, Marie, and John R. attended the sneak peak presentation of the new ZR1 at the Attleboro Arts Museum. Bert said that Kirk Bennion gave a very informative insight into the design of the new ZR1. A wing, similar to the C6R wing, along with louvered fenders and a hood, were scrapped because their negatives out weighed their benefits. The car also started out as a twin turbo, but after the prototype burned to the ground due to an engine malfunction, that idea was scrapped. There were 27, or so, name/logo combinations, before ZR1 was chosen. The Corvette Action Center recorded a long portion of Kirk's presentation. Check it out at:
