Subject: Re: Tis a SHAME... by daddue11 on 2008/7/2 21:44:56 Ahhh,seeing this thread really touches my heart,for it was about a year and a half ago when I saw my Destiny(my Vette)that I drooled over when I saw her umpteen years earlier. She was sitting under a walnut tree and had turned dark green and black from all the sap and pollen,she's supposed to be maroon,her insides were gutted and she had 3 flats and one bald one still aired up, I had to air up 4 basketballs to get her high enough to get a jack under her. I didn't care what shape she was in I knew she was my Destiny and with a little time,elbow grease,and not half as much money as I thaught it would take,WhaaLaa! she's now my companion for life. Not factory origional,but origional Me. When I was in highschool a body like that would be snatched up quick,but with the econome the way it is I cringe to think of the older classics will just rot. |
