RE:Scan & Pan; Picture Size; and Times

Casey,
My computer is set at 800 x 600 pixels resolution. On this thread, so far, everything fits on my screen. I can pan to the right, but there is nothing there. All the content fits and is readable without any panning. It is only a problem when an out sized picture appears. The format is stretched to accommodate the picture, which necessitates the panning. It wouldn't be so bad if it stretched the format for just that post, but the format is distorted for the whole thread. Previous and following posts that don't require the wider format are expanded to fill it, even though it isn't needed. That means every post in the thread must panned, making the reading a real chore.

RACE ON!!!

I know exactly what youre saying, you should bump that resolution up to at least 1024x768 or higher. Any monitor will go that high as long as its 14 inch or more.

On the other hand, the average monitor these days is set to at least 1024x768. And most of the new LCD monitors are even higher than that.

As a rule, a CRT monitor will go way above the resolution of any LCD of the same size, my 17 inch LG F700P would go to 1920x1440, where as my 19" LCD wont go past 1280x1024.
