It's an annoyance...
There isn't much we can do. Brian already hacked the system to stop logoffs.
For me, and I suspect other admins and/or mods, when this happens, I get sent into the editor.
I guess that doesn't happen?
If nothing else, clear the cookies on your computer and log in fresh, with the check box marked to stay logged in.
