Thanks  Did some more work yesterday including an oil change. Crawling under the car I was surprised to see a polished oil pan. Found a sticker on the block from a rebuilder in Springfield MO called Aaron's Automotive Products. Car also has polished billet pulleys and a polished timing cover (with no timing mark!!!). Also changed the plugs (easy with headers, and using a plug wrench with a ratcheting socket on the end) but those will have to come back out to reset the distributor today. Hopefully have it at least started up soon! Matthew |
