Subject: Re: C2 pics by Ultraman on 2012/2/9 17:55:10 Going through a bunch of old slides from the old days and found some good ones......That's my Dad standing next the 65 Coupe at Daytona Beach Florida back in August of 65...I was 15 and totally sold out on Corvettes. There is a slice of history for you....  The car had Colorado plates as you can see and the red stipes and the front bumpers removed with the holes still showing.....Were those wheels great on that car or what? The sticker on the wing window was from a Vette club in Colorado if I recall. Must of been a great trip they were on....Back then you could drive on the beach...I doubt if you can now.  Here is a picture of my 63 taken back in 89 or 90....yeah, yeah, I know........sacrifices have been made......  |
