Tommy, that's hard to answer. You'll probably have to get a hold of the event guys. Most DE's don't have the stricter requirements that a race organization have.
Some will accept a SA 2000 helmit (SA 2005 is the latest), some will allow a DOT certified helmit, like a motorcycle helmit.
Some events even have loaner helmits.

I think you said you auto-x, your helmit for that should be ok.
