Subject: ..and for something a little different (Drifting) by djxib on 2011/11/5 18:35:03 ..my son competed in his first official tandem drift event last weekend and placed first out of 10! It was a particularly sweet win because he beat a lot of sponsored Pro-Am drivers. (Pro-Am is the feeder series for Formula D). The event took place at the airfield in Thomson, GA - the airfield was closed for the day. Here is a 'promo' video from the event. My son's car is heavily featured - it is the black Nissan 240sx with bright purple hood. On the side it says SrsBsns ;{. My son (Alex) will be competing 'full time' (5 events) in Pro-Am next season for sure. Enjoy!
