In what could be the best GT battle in Sebring's six decades of endurance racing, six manufacturers will battle at Sebring's legendary once-around-the-clock classic. American muscle will be well represented as Chevrolet Corvette and Dodge Viper battle against European high performance legends Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Aston Martin. Corvette has won at Sebring seven times during the ALMS era, but all five of their competitors have also won at Sebring, with BMW winning last year's race. The GT battle will likely go down to the wire, just like 2007 when the final margin was less than one second after 12 hours of racing. |
