The C5 calipers are still a slide rail caliper, and a mediocre one at that. The issue is wheel clearance for a 4 or 6 pot caliper. If you have the clearance, the Wilwood SL6R, Brembo, PFC etc, are a big improvment. You can get the Caddy CTS-V Brembo for about $200 each, then make an adapter.
