I'm around 6'3" and with my helmet on I really didn't fit. Now I have about 1/2" of clearance to the top with my helmet on and I don't hit my head when I jump the local train tracks.

The bracket shown is their adapter bracket, it's suppose to be used with many washers but I used as few as humanly possible to keep the total height down. I even took out the carpet, about 1/4" of height.

The seat bases I had shaved when I bought the seats. This keeps the total height of the seat the same but lowers the seat cushion where you sit. You can tell by looking at the seat as there is a noticable gap between the back part and seat bottom part. I asked the max shave they would do. I also have the sub belt hole.

The sliders are locking on each side, I thought that would be safer for track use. I got the seats with free shipping at streetortrack.com

The harness bar is gas welded to federal aircraft spec.
