And the Vette will bottom out on the first jump, unless you want to convert yours to 4 wheel drive. Road Rallys, I think, can be done w/o extra expenses, but the guys that do it a lot have a rally clock onboard. Most SCCA regions put these on. Driver Ed.? If it's for you, there's lots available including, Street Survival Schools, High Preformance Street Schools, Car Control Clinics and PDX (Preformance Driving Experience, SCCA), HPDE (High Performance Driving Experience). The level of instructor expertise varys in most of these. If you want to get into instructing, SCCA is licensing the Time Trials Instructors, bascially having instructors with experience work with new instructors at PDXs. I hold license in Time Trials Instructor-Specialest, chief driving instructor, instruct the instructors,etc. |
