If someone had the $$$ and wanted one, I'd be happy to build them the same thing. The cam is a custom grind I spec'd from Mike Jones Cam desgins. 288/292 advertised duration 242/246@.050 duration .620/.620 lift (1.7/1.7) 110 LSA degreed in on 107 ICL. Very good sounding cam at idle. It is also very docile at any RPM over idle. Great manners on the road. I can run the car in 6th gear at 1500RPM and it has no chop or cam surge at all. The air was pretty good Sunday despite the fact that it was 70*F, humid as all heck and even eventually started raining. I think something like 100ft DA. The track there is only 40ft above sea level so even when the weather isn't great the DA still is. I have no idea what the green C5 had for a motor but it sounded good at idle. The fellow is a member of biggrizzley's club and he said that they had run that car way down in the 10's. With 128MPH on tap it is a very fast car. Will |
