one thing i have found with both the nittos and mickeys in the 315x35x17size on 11 in rims is that if i go down below 18-19lbs is the center of the tire starts to get a valley bow in it . the mickeys seemed to like a big smokey burn out , the nittos not so much just a couple of seconds. they didnt bite worth a darn when we did a big burn out . a genleman named ranger sugested i do a short second gear burnout and said to mmake sure i back into the water box then roll out to the front edge of it so to minimize water getting on the wheel wells and front tires . never had thought of it much before as all my other race cars have front runners on them my zr1s i run the standard 275x40x17 tires pumped up to 50 lbs at the strip
