are you talking about drag strips . fontana is 197.6 miles from me and famoso 199.1 miles . next time your in lone pine stop by mount whitney golf club . i am the golf pro/course supt there and have been here for over 20 yrs. i live in the yellow and white mobile home at the top of the hill. we do have some fun roads to play on .every once in a while i on a summer winter morning i drive over to paniment valley @ sunrise and do a little top end run . the road is dead straight for 4 miles and 150 ft below sea level . coming from 3700 ft in lone pine it feels like the car got a 100 shot of juice and the sound the car makes in that valley just way too much fun .. as far as tracks go i think famoso is about 2or 3 tenths faster . but i like the way fontana is run with 50 cars per group where famoso is a free for all .you end up spending all your time in the staging lanes . as they dont have any group designations . dont get me wrong i like both for different reasons and have known blake @ famoso for years
