I never hear about anyone working on the posi in these.

I assume they wear out and lose grip. I can turn my posi with a breaker bar on the spindle nut so I can't imagine 200 ft lbs amounts to a hill of beans when the rear tires are laying down 2,500 ft-lbs of torque (after gear multipication).

Is there a spec to check these against?

Is there any aftermarket stuff for the Cherokee D44ICA? Although I've heard the carriers are different and only the ring/pinion are actually shared between them and the C4.
