The only good thing is that K1 Tech was bought out by Dover-PMI Group which also owns Innovate, Wiseco Pistons and JE Pistons. Orginally K1 was started by a guy named Tom Molnar. He worked at Oliver connecting rods for a long time... Started K1 and then sold it to Dover-PMI.

I don't blame China for it's QC... I blame cheap assed companies requesting bad QC. They can make world class if asked to.

And if they expect to survive as a global mfg source, they will need to raise their game... just like the Japanese did.
