I did want to show everyone what I have been running, engine wise in the car, so people can get a feel for what it takes to run these kind of numbers. Getting the car in the 9's with that pump gas 427 was really easy... but getting it down to 9.20's was pretty difficult. It actually took more chassis and driveline tuning than engine tuning... Getting it in the mid to low 8's for next season is going to be a big task. I have no doubts what so ever that I'll make the needed HP but the chassis is going to be the key. I'll also show everyone my new cage once it's completed. The guy doing it is a wonderful chassis builder. His work is flawless and I'll really be proud to show off the fact that I own something of that caliber. Will |
