You can see the K1 Technology rod hitting the camshaft here..... (If you look in the mirror).

Looking at where it's hitting on the cam lobe and how much lobe is left to go, you can get an idea of how much material would have had to come off the shoulder and bolt of that rod to clear the cam lobe.... way more than I was confortable grinding off a rod thats gonna be used in a 700+hp and 8,000RPM engine.
