Subject: Re: Season's over and time to rebuild. by rklessdriver on 2014/4/8 20:14:14 Brother called me today and he got a piston fly cut... he is going to mock it up tonight or tomorrow and figure out if my guesstimate of .125 is enough. If it gives enough piston to valve clearance he is cleared hot to cut the other (7) pistons, weigh everything and balance the crank. I got the extra shims ordered from Jesel yesterday (should arrive this week). Only one part for the engine left to order... PUSHRODS! Once the Jesel shims arrive he can mock the rockers back up and re-figure rocker geometry and pushrod length out. Then I'll order the pushrods. Hope to be ready for assembly next week or week after sometime. Dyno shortly after. Will |
