With the exception of the new carburetor - I didn't do any of that stuff. LOL. My chassis builder's schedule was too booked up to do the X Link track locator and after looking at my log book carefully (missed a lot of races last year), I feel like the engine is safe to run this season on the original roller lifters. I kid you Gurus not.... This car sat on it's trailer, under a car cover, outside in my buddies yard for the entire winter. Last week, I went and towed it over to my house, fixed a busted -12AN fuel hose, put the new carb on it, filled it up with fuel, charged the battery and went to the track. I do need to change the oil and check the valve lash before Saturday's race. Will |
