The only thing you use it as a trigger to kill power, would be ignition retard or nitrous activation. As far as traction Control, Davis Electronics makes a TC box all the "street race" guys run (we run them in our dirt late models as well) but it's like 5 grand and my class can't run them anyway. Really the best thing to do is to use the suspension to keep the car on the ground and pour all the HP I can to it and get it down the track as fast as possible. You'd be amazed what limiting the front travel (extension) or using a strap/chain to terminate it abruptly, will do.... Also I got be better prepared as the driver to recognize what the car is doing. This was the first nitrous pass on those 275 radial tires and I (as the tuner) just misses the set up, then missed driving (as the driver) properly.... lol. Will |
