Yea. For my part it wasn't that bad. We have had this car apart a couple of times so we know what to do. The driving distance involved and short time table was the worst part of it. On the chassis I am amazed that he got everything knocked out in just a few days... Even came in $500 under budget, because it turned out to be less work than he thought it might be. Super nice and honest guy, he could have just kept the car an extra week, delivered it when he promised and no one would have been the wiser. The bogging was entirely timing related. I found that the top plate on my MSD distributor had come loose and was retarding the timing... when the car was on the 2 step the timing would jump back and forth. It was a totally different car at the last race with that fixed. Will |
