My new 4 post lift! |
Subject: My new 4 post lift! by 88BlackZ51 on 2009/10/17 19:23:44 I thought I would post some pictures of my new garage toy. It is a Direct-Lift model #PP8S (8000 lbs. capacity) 4 post lift. I had this house (garage) built about 1.5 years ago, and I had the 3rd garage planned out for a 4 post lift. I had the garage tracks modified so I could stand under the Corvette with the garage door open. It looks like my measurements worked out as I can stand under the Corvette with the garage door open with several inches too boot. The garage is 23 feet deep, and the ceilings are 11 feet high fyi. Infact to my surprise with the garage door shut, I was able to stand under my Chevy Trailblazer. I didnt really expect that, but Ill take it! All in all I am happy so far with the lift. It raises all the way to the top in about 1 minute, and lowers in half that time. I am looking forward to using it for maintenance and space saving. I was somewhat hesitant is purchasing the lift because it was not made in USA, but after seeing the quality of the lift, I am satisfied with what it has to offer. The only thing that I didnt get was the drip trays, but I was promised they would be shipped to my place(they are on back order). Here are a few pictures....
