Re: Sunday Morning Chat

Time for a barley pop or two - just finished mowing the lawn and a couple of other miscellaneous chores.

In between mowing stints, I conditioned the seats on the Vette. When I was at the BHCC, they had a detailing seminar put on by C-Magic (I don't know if their stuff is any better than anyone else's, but the Corvette Museum uses it). Anyway, the guy said that to properly condition the leather on your seats, you should have the car sitting out in the hot sun and let the pores open up. Then work the conditioner in with your fingers and let it sit for a while. If it all soaks in, repeat the process until it no longer does so - he said most cars will require 2-5 times. It took me 3, so he was right. Anyway, they're as conditioned as reclaimed yak skin, or whatever cheapo leather they use on these things, can be.
