Subject: Re: More Gloom and Doom by Matatk on 2010/11/2 13:14:19 I don't live there, not my problem  Actually it is...the Western states have been wanting to siphon water from the Great Lakes for years and years via a pipeline. As far as I know it's still not happened. Surprisingly, only one of those on the list offered a suggestion for what I think needs to be done - desalination plant. Costly, yes, but in the long run you will need to get the water from somewhere. Matthew |
